MyChezMoi began its adventure as MyMarseille in 2010 and became MyChezMoi in 2016, with the opening of the Lyon office. The aim is to restore the reputation of the real estate agent profession by offering high value-added services to clients, which was revolutionary in 2010. MyChezMoi has successfully implemented an organisational structure, support functions and technical resources that free up time for advisors to focus on clients, both buyers and sellers. The company strives above all for efficiency for its employees in order to provide the best possible service to its clients.

Its sole objective is "customer satisfaction". More than 4,500 sales have been completed in Marseille and more than 750 in Lyon, thanks to the support of the customer relations department, which provides more than 1,800 appointments for estate agents, a reception service, a quality service, a professional photographer, a marketing and communications service, an events service, an HR service, managers and ongoing training.

Challenge

In 2023, at the height of the property crisis, recruiting property advisors is a real challenge. Finding the ideal candidates is easy with time and the right tools, but convincing them to continue in this field is an extremely difficult task. Many advisors are disillusioned and want to change careers and industries entirely. Even a permanent position does not appeal to them, so it is essential to contact a large number of candidates and have an attractive and reassuring pitch to attract talent.

Recruiting property advisers in 2023 and 2024 is therefore time-consuming and synonymous with a significant volume of activity. To achieve this, you need a dedicated team, which was not the case for our client: no budget to advertise, no access to LinkedIn Recruiter for headhunting, no in-house recruiters to handle the volume... If MyChezMoi wanted to achieve its development objectives, recruiting Real Estate Advisors on permanent contracts was not enough: additional resources were needed to approach candidates and convince them.

Solution

With this in mind, Morgan Philips Outsourcing suggested that MyChezMoi dedicate a recruiter to handle the entire recruitment process for Real Estate Advisors in Lyon and Marseille. The Talent Acquisition Specialist took the time to learn about the company and develop a pitch that would enable them to convince candidates. In parallel with this discovery phase, we recorded a video presentation of these requirements in order to provide storytelling and enrich the multi-broadcast advertisement on the job boards in our catalogue and on social networks. We launched sponsored campaigns on LinkedIn and automated follow-ups with all candidates approached in order to optimise the response rate. We deployed a high-volume sourcing strategy, which was time-consuming but effective, combining searches in partner CV databases and LinkedIn campaigns with multiple calls to establish contact with as many candidates as possible.

This enabled us to build a pipeline of targeted candidates that we could work with on a daily basis. Working full-time for MyChezmoi, the Talent Acquisition Specialist was able to immerse themselves in the company's culture, sales pitch, wording and atmosphere. Our approach goes beyond simply sourcing candidates. It encompasses the creation of a tailored narrative, adapting our vocabulary to the client's world, pitching to candidates as if we were employees of the company, and then taking charge of the interview process for Real Estate Advisors.
