Challenge

Store managers are difficult to attract and retain due to low salaries in this sector and fierce competition between brands. Store team leaders, store managers and shop managers are often difficult candidates to find because they are in high demand and must have specific experience in this field. They must also have multiple skills: team management, monitoring of retail-specific KPIs, sales, in-store product management, distribution and product shelving, regardless of the type of store or sector.

To meet this challenge, it is essential to have the right tools and to generate volume by attracting specific candidates with links to the retail sector. All of our clients (company directors, HR managers, managers, etc.) are looking for intuitive tools to facilitate the search for candidates, regardless of the job or sector.

Solution

To help FAGUO with its recruitment, we dedicated one member of our team for a month to searching for and identifying profiles through a direct approach. We distributed a video advertisement explaining the specifics of the Store Manager role and made an average of 40 calls per day to carry out telephone pre-qualifications. During these four weeks, our Sourcing Officers also set up a system on our ATS to facilitate the creation and monitoring of a pool of candidates such as Shop Managers etc.

We also had to make Faguo's HR Manager aware of the need to be extremely responsive as soon as qualified profiles were received. Store Managers are highly volatile and in high demand, so it is very important to contact them very quickly so as not to lose them to another brand.
