Since 2011, the Collège de Paris has been committed to making excellence accessible through a community of more than 50 schools and 14,000 students. The member schools are all recognised in their fields of specialisation and offer a guarantee of integration into the global job market. All programmes lead to certifications recognised by the State or by international assessment bodies. The programmes are specifically designed to welcome international students and to enable French students to complete their internships or part of their training abroad. The teaching teams are trained to teach multicultural and multilingual groups.

Challenge

What was this client's challenge? Recruiting students for a Human Resources programme. Our target audience was students or people looking to change careers who wanted to enrol in a degree programme in Human Resources.

As a result, the volume of profiles to be approached was going to be very large and required a lot of time to search for and process in a relatively short period of time, with a deadline linked to the start date of the programme. In addition, we also had to anticipate potential candidate withdrawals. Not only did we have to recruit in large numbers, but we also had to anticipate and respond to potential candidate withdrawals in order to maintain a sufficient number of participants in the programme.

The large volume of applicants required careful attention to ensure a high-quality selection process. In addition, the Collège de Paris recruitment team consisted of two work-study students and a recruitment manager. It was therefore urgent for our client to receive support and also to act as a trainer for the existing team.

Solution

The key to success lay in our ability to act quickly and implement effective recruitment processes. The limited time available made it imperative to implement a strategy focused on speed and efficient organisation. We therefore designed optimised procedures to ensure maximum responsiveness as soon as applications were received.

Each stage of the process, from candidate selection to interviews, was meticulously planned to ensure a smooth and rapid process. At the same time, rigorous organisation proved crucial to achieving our objectives within the given timeframe. We implemented effective tracking systems to facilitate the management of applications, the coordination of interviews and communication with candidates.

To do this, we customised our ATS to our client's needs and gave them access to it. We helped them get to grips with the tool and the process we had put in place so that the whole team could work as smoothly as possible. Each application was thoroughly reviewed to assess the relevance of skills and experience before being submitted to the Collège de Paris recruitment team. We ended up recruiting 20 students to complete the class that was starting two months later.
