Challenge

SUEZ wanted to quickly build a new cohort for its Graduate Program by recruiting 37 engineers in just three months. This very short deadline required setting up an immediately operational organization, capable of processing several thousand applications while ensuring a smooth and high-quality candidate experience.

The mission entrusted to Morgan Philips Outsourcing covered in particular the sorting of applications directly in SUEZ's Cornerstone ATS, telephone pre-qualification, shortlist preparation, and HR interviews.

Beyond the volume of applications to process, the project required close coordination with the HR teams and SUEZ's business experts. Each step had to respect the criteria defined for the Graduate Program and enable internal teams to quickly access qualified candidates.

Performance monitoring was also a major issue. Several indicators had to be updated daily: number of applications received and processed, pre-qualifications completed, shortlisted candidates, shortlist turnaround time, and recruitment time.

Solution

To meet this ambitious objective, Morgan Philips Outsourcing deployed, from 3 March, a team of five people fully dedicated to the project, managed by a Project Manager.

Before the operational launch of the campaign, our teams organized upskilling for the recruiters mobilized. On 3 April, they therefore took part in a visit to three SUEZ treatment plants. This immersion enabled them to better understand the Group's activities, its industrial environment, and the realities of the roles offered to future graduates.

On 7 April, several launch meetings were then organized with the various stakeholders. The job adverts were reviewed and the expectations associated with the positions, the selection criteria, and the recruitment process were precisely defined.

Telephone pre-qualification and interviews with business experts started on 16 April. Morgan Philips Outsourcing consultants worked directly in the Cornerstone ATS to fully integrate with SUEZ's tools and processes.

Throughout the mission, the Project Manager chaired weekly progress meetings with the client teams. These exchanges helped track indicators, share campaign progress, identify potential blockages, and adjust priorities when necessary.

At the end of the campaign, a complete debrief was produced to assess the project, analyze the results achieved, and identify the main lessons for future Graduate Program cohorts.
